Third Party Administration (TPA) Services
We blend the strengths of experienced call center professionals
with trained claims examiners to achieve a team with strong technical
and client service skills.
Over half of our client service staff has processed claims with an
average claims paying experience that exceeds seven years.
Our client services staff has over 50 years of experience in
claims processing or client service experience
With our improved electronic claims processing system the staffing
needs of our claims department has shifted. Rather than utilizing
one type of claims examiner and producing a significant amount of
manual processing, our claims team now includes a more sophisticated
plan builder (i.e. programmer), more data input professionals and
fewer claims examiners.
The Florida Health Alliance network is a subsidiary of Medcom established in January
1984. FHA is a Preferred Provider Organization based in Jacksonville,
Florida that involves a cooperative of employers, employees,
physicians, hospitals and other health care providers. FHA provides
a network in Northeast Florida, and offers other treaty networks
throughout the United States.
Elements characterizing the FHA provider network are freedom of
choice and quality of service delivered by its panel of participating
providers. Employers have designed self-funded health care plans
around FHA that provide creative, cost-effective benefits for their
covered employees and dependents. To encourage participation in the
FHA network, covered clients receive higher levels of benefits with
lower deductibles, co-payments, and coinsurance percentages and out
of pocket costs for employees. |
